The Pennsylvania Podiatric Medical Association (PPMA) awards annual scholarships to children of active members.

Children of PPMA members in good standing that maintain current liability insurance through PMAP are invited to apply to be considered for a scholarship to be awarded at $500 annually for up to four years for a total of up to $2,000 to offset educational expenses at a 4-year college, a two-year college, or an accredited trade school.

TO QUALIFY:

1) Applicant must be a Child of an active PPMA member in good standing. 

2) Applicant must be a student planning on furthering their education in the fall of 2026 at a qualified educational institution

4) Applicant’s GPA must be 3.0 or higher to apply.

5) Applicant must submit a short 300-500 word essay explaining why he or she has selected the major and indicate his or her professional aspirations.

5) Must submit an application by its deadline of April 30th, 2026

Applicants that are not awarded funds will receive a notification via email in June and the applicant that has been selected will receive notification via mail in June.
